Freelance Illustator, NFT artist / South Korea

Kate is a freelance illustrator and NFT artist based in South Korea. Since when she was young, she fell in love with all kinds of arts, like music, movies, painting, also music.

She used to paint anything she likes on Canvas and giving all of them to her friends since years ago. But while she's doing her artistic work, she didn't know that she can become an artist. After she grew up, she visited lots of museums and galleries around European countries, and it makes her fascinated with the arts more. She learned about NFT in March when her friend started collecting NFT arts. For her, it was surely an interesting thing because all information on artwork is saved in the blockchain. And also, the NFT marketplace is such a great place to sell her work worldwide.

After a brief analysis about NFT marketplace, she started her career as an NFT artist in April, 2021. Of course there was trial and error, but she could get a lot of help from KoreaNFT community (https://koreannft.com

Struggling for surviving this NFT world for months, she created <Suicide Helper> series and did some collaboration works. She's now making a cards of <Suicide Helper> and planning other projects like <Cases By Kate>, the first Korean storytelling text NFT. You can see her work through her Instagram or Twitter, mostly in Opensea.
